Your hosts are Boyt and Theresa Young. Boyt and Theresa have lived in this area of South Dakota for . . . well enough said about that. They operated a dairy for eighteen years, getting up every morning at 4:30 am! Boyt says he finally realized that "there are ways to work with livestock that can be done in the daylight." They sold their dairy and expanded their ranching and farming operation while raising 2 kids, Lori and Jessi. Now grandparents, Boyt and Theresa have added a hay marketing business and a trucking business.

Throughout the years, "Mother" Theresa has sharpened her amateur nursing skills since Boyt has managed to lose fights with horses, airplanes, cows, 4-wheelers and several pieces of farm machinery - lots of stories here! Of course, Theresa learned to perform all of the farming and ranching chores, but when Boyt isn't laid up she is the business manager and computer guru. Along the way Theresa's skills in the kitchen became legendary as all who sit down at her table will attest. Young's Hunting Service was created a few years ago. It has provided Boyt and Theresa a chance to share their gregarious natures, their generous hospitality, and their rural values with hunting guests from all over this great country.
